For one of my freelance jobs, I was given the
task of designing a poster for my best friend, a graduate student at the University of Toronto. This poster was to help her find potential candidates to participate in a survey. I was given the text, images, logos and font colours that needed to be included in the design. Aesthetically, it was to look clean and appealing.

 

I chose a sans-serif typeface and used thick, bolded fonts to separate the sub-headings
and the main heading from the body text of the poster. The solid colour rectangles help balance out my design structure by emphasizing the importance of the information that may be overlooked by the viewer's eyes.
