While working at my part-time at a trophy company, I was asked by the graphic artist to create a new, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) insert to be used for school awards. I had to create four different drafts, in colour, with the word "STEM" and icons that represent the four disciplines.

For each discipline, I assigned a colour which was consistent within all four layouts. I used white to maintain balance within the colour scheme. The letters for "STEM" were all drawn out for me
to stretch and compress them during the drafting phase without any hassel from using a typeface.

Once the design was picked out of the four, I was given specific instrustions on how to adjust the final insert. This included the layour size and adjusting the width, height and adding an outline to the lettering.
